Urbanita is Spanish for “city-dweller.” As the name suggests, I have lived in cities (in one size or another) all of my life. Having grown up in Chicago, I now live primarily in Providence, Rhode Island where I attend Brown University. But this blog will not be about either city…at least not for the time being. Instead, it will concern my latest and biggest adventure to date: 4 months spent studying abroad in Barcelona. I want to share with you my experiences, travels, and people I meet. Along the way, I hope to discover Barcelona’s many facets and write about them here. I want to discover the city’s world-renowned architecture, food, fashion, and music. And I’d like to throw in the occasional anecdote about any oddballs or funny moments I may encounter.
